It begins with a deep cleanse and exfoliation with aqua jet, after which Radio Frequency with micro-needling creates micropunctures in the skin, to infuse the PRP serum – regenerating skin cells and collagen while hydrating at the cellular level.
PRP is a natural treatment, using your own blood platelets to extract the nutrient dense Platlet Rich Plasma. How it works:
Firstly, your skin is prepped with aqua jet pressure for a deep exfoliation to remove all traces of makeup and to prepare the skin for the treatment. The Radio Frequency includes a double strength of microneedling at the same time. You will feel warm sensations of the treated area, with most clients saying it is not so painful.
Blood will be taken from your arm and treated to give the nutrient dense Platlet Rich Plasma, which will then be used like serum to be infused by the Radio Frequency machine into the skin.
Your Cocoon facialist will always take it slow and give you feedback as to the level of tolerance for the power. Higher power is always better for results, but it is up to the tolerance of each individual.
After the treatment, you will relax for 20 mins under a LED red light, which heals the skin and reduces redness and swelling.
Finally, the last step is the super nourishing serums and creams: Supercharged Skin Serum – DNA Peptide collagen serum, and Advanced Active Anti Aging: Retinol Stem Cell Oxygen Cream. These products give superior anti-aging skin repair and radiance.
